"My inspiration comes from various sources words, Calder, Mondrian, textures. And colors. I find flat glass challenging because it uses both sides of the brain. It is technical and anyone who works with the medium must also have a deep respect for the nature of the material. It has its own vocabulary and rules, which it places before those who work with it. And it is beautiful. The subtlety of color variations is a melody, the textures are poetry. What glass does in differing light situations is a symphony."
